HTC G1 | Updating | Firmware | Guide

Before You Start, Make sure you have fully battery charged. at least 50% up

1. Rename the archive to update.zip from HTC G1 Update.zip
2. Copy the file to the SD Card.
Note : Connect the phone to desktop and then transfer the file. Don't take out the SD card and use the card reader.
3. Turn off the phone. Press and hold HOME and POWER button. The phone will start in recovery mode. You should see an exclaimation sign when it starts.
4. Press Alt + L, it will take you to the boot menu,
5. Press Alt + S, to start the update process. It will take a while so be patient.
6. When the update completes, it will prompt you to press HOME + BACK to reboot.
7 . After you reboot, the update will finalize and automatically reboot.

Note : This guide is not for those, who already done. for those who want to do, need a small guide.
