Step 14
Push a flathead under the small aluminum hook extending
from the backplate, try to lift the hook itself as little as possible
as they are breakable. The goal is to extert the prying force on the
reinforced part of the backplate that is located by the hook, not on
the hook itself.

Step 15
Repeat the procedure on the bottom and then go back to the top.

Step 16
Now this is the most difficult part: Insert the flatheat
screwdriver about a quater of an inch underneath the aluminum hook
holding the backplate in place.
Pry the backplate upwards by using the side of the antenna as an area of support.
This step will be easier if you use a slightly bigger, sturdier flathead screwdriver, otherwise the small flathead works fine.

Step 17
As you push down on the back of your screwdriver, it's front should exert a force on the backplate from underneath.
Please use patience and care during this step, it will require quite a
bit of force to make the backplate come loose. Be careful, since it
will come loose abruptly.
